the rangers will hope for the texas heat. they won't get it today though. the green and gold took on the second place rangers in game one of the series last night. they got off to a good start when brandon moss doubled in lowrie and took a 2-0 lead in the first inning. it was all texas after that. the rangers scoring the next six runs on the way to an 8-3 win. the giants in tampa bay to take on the rays. madison baumgartner was dominant on the round. he pitched seven pgs and 11 strike outs. brandon broke a 1-1 tie and the giants go on to win their third straight game, beating the rays, 4-1. from the big leaguers to the little leaguers and it was a close one. not enough to get the win for the pleasanton nashls yesterday. they played in the world series in livermore this week. the boys from pleasanton knocked off the teams and lost 6-5 in the game that was heavily favored from houston. the team plays again this afternoon at the same location. if they win they will advance and play the team again, but this time for all the marbles. still ahead on today in the
